In my quest to become a thought leader in my industry, I had to better understand exactly what that meant.  Having a thought worth sharing with the healthcare IT community has to be relevant and thought-provoking.  The thoughts that will be published on this site and on other forms of media are based on my research, experience, and insight into an industry I've worked in most of my adult life. 

As a student of healthcare IT and security, the need to learn and evolve is just part of my DNA.  Achieving any kind of leadership here only happens if I spark an interest, a dialog, or new perspectives that solve real challenges or invent something new, be it new interoperability strategies, improved security, or a different perspective on cloud adoption.  The healthcare industry continues to set high expectations on technology to enhance and augment the delivery of care.  I look forward to the challenges ahead and the interaction with this community of professionals.
